A 2008 Interview with Lamp interview celebrating the release of their album "Lamp Phantasma"

They talk about their thought process for how they release albums. They were originally planning on releasing their fourth and fifth albums simultaneuously. According to Taiyo, that's because they already had songs ready to be recorded. Kaori jokes, "Yeah, we're like, "maybe we should leave this song off this record and put it on the next on because it's so good."". It seems they usually have a lot of songs ready to put on different albums.

Something I found funny in this interview is Yusuke's reply to a question about their backing vocals. He says, "I'm pretty sure no one actually pays attention to backing vocals as much as we think they do..." That's funny to me because I absolutely do! lol
